Guy Fieri opens 3 Flavortown restaurants for delivery in metro Phoenix

If you got the munchies for overstuffed burgers and bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers, you’ve got a new takeout option: Celebrity chef Guy Fieri has launched a nationwide chain of Flavortown ghost kitchens — and three of those takeout restaurants open Friday in metro Phoenix.

Fieri has graced the Valley on numerous occasions for his Food Network series “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.”

Ghost kitchens, or virtual restaurants that operate for takeout only, have proliferated during the pandemic. Fieri joins other celebrities and restaurateurs who’ve ventured into ghost kitchen business, from Sam Fox’s Fly Bye pizzeria to YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson’s MrBeast burger chain.

How to order food from Flavortown

The delivery-only concept is operating out of Buca di Beppo locations in Chandler, Peoria and Scottsdale.

The menu includes:

  • S-M-Cheesesteak Egg Rolls with shaved ribeye, SMC — Fieri’s signature “super melty cheese” sauce, provolone and Sriracha ketchup ($14.99).
  • Bacon Mac N’ Cheese Burger with 80/20 ground beef, SMC, mac n’ cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, pickle, crispy onions, garlic buttered brioche and Donkey sauce — another Fieri creation, similar to garlic aioli ($12.99).
  • Chocolate Whiskey Cake with whiskey crème anglaise, salted whiskey caramel sauce and crumbled toffee bar ($7.95).
