Two taco vendors in El Monte arrested after altercation breaks out with health department

Two taco stand vendors in El Monte were arrested after an altercation broke out with the county health department. 

The incident, which was caught on camera, happened Saturday night near the intersection of Valley Blvd. Mountain Ave.

The health department had received several complaints about unpermitted food vending, which is a violation, but when police officers and health inspectors arrived at the location things got violent.

Two arrested after shots fired at Jefferson City fast food parking lot | Mid-Missouri News

JEFFERSON CITY – Two subjects are in custody after a shots fired incident Thursday night at McDonalds on Missouri Boulevard in Jefferson City. 

Jefferson City Police responded approximately at 9:30 p.m. to a shots fired incident. Callers gave descriptions of vehicles leaving the area amid the gunfire. 

Responding officers were able to locate shell casings and broken glass on the parking lot, but no victims. 

At approximately 9:40 p.m., the 911 Center received a call reporting a damaged vehicle on Lincoln University campus. Lincoln University Police responded and located bullets holes on the vehicle.

A Dothan fast food worker was arrested after police say she took pictures of customer debit cards and tried to use them for internet purchases.

Da’Kia Rochelle Cooper, 18, is being charged with identity theft.

Dothan Police Sgt. Tim Mullis said Cooper worked at a fast food restaurant on Montgomery Highway and was given access to customers’ debit cards.
