Promising to be “coming soon” and already asking local fans where it should expand to next, Los Angeles-born Dirt Dog is preparing to debut its third Las Vegas outpost in Sunrise.
Four years since it launched in the southwest at the Rainbow-Shelbourne Plaza, followed by the debut of a walk-up counter at the Strip’s Grand Bazaar Shops back in 2017, the new location moves into a retail center at 5105 E. Sahara Avenue, close to the intersection with Nellis Boulevard.
Specializing in a creative menu of Nathan’s hot dogs, served L.A. street-food-style and stacked with toppings, the expanded options now include elote, chili, and pastrami fries, carne asada tacos, corn on a stick, plus deep fried Twinkies and horchata ice cream.
A recent partnership with celebrity customer Snoop Dogg has resulted in the all-beef Snoop’s Dogg, wrapped in “billionaire bacon” and upgraded with “gin n’ juice ketchup” “grandma slaw,” and “doggy-style BBQ sauce.”
The Sunrise Manor build will be overseen by WG Constructors, best known for its imaginative restaurant remodels in Chinatown, including Hobak Korean BBQ, Yui Edomae Sushi, and Gäbi Coffee & Bakery.
While polling social media for suggestions on where to place its fourth location, Dirt Dog has yet to reveal an estimated opening date, or future opening hours on Sahara.
