A list of all 49 food trucks on Evansville-, Henderson-area streets

EVANSVILLE, Ind. — If you’re hungry, there’s a food truck for you on the streets of the Tri-State. Here’s a full list of all 49 trucks active in the Evansville and Henderson area and links to their Facebook pages so you can always find your favorites.

1. Acropolis Express

In towns all around Evansville, the Acropolis is serving a variety of creative gyro sandwiches, falafel, Greek salad and hummus. Also, each week brings a different selection of pre-packaged grab-and-go dinner entrees with sides.

2. Burrito Express

Luis Flores assembles a Cali Burrito with french fries, griddled steak, cheese and sour cream in his Burrito Express truck on Saturday, April 17, 2021.

Find all your favorite street taco meats and some unusual varieties at this authentic Mexican truck in Henderson. Look for specials such as adobada, pork marinated in a spicy sauce before searing; and lomo, lean pork braised in an achiote marinade and sliced. Also on the menu are fried “golden tacos,” birria tacos with cheese and more.

3. The Cheese Queen Gourmet Grilled Cheese

Diners lineup in front of The Cheese Queen food truck during the Food Trucks at the Farm event hosted by the Evansville Food Truck Association at Farm 57 every Wednesday, July 11, 2018.

It’s your childhood favorite all grown-up — grilled cheese gourmet style with spicy ghost pepper jack, muenster, mozzarella and more cheeses to choose from. Toppings include bacon, homemade pesto, guacamole, grilled chicken, tomato and jalapeños — or have a hot dog or cheesecake.

4. Chef Bruce Li

Chef Li offers Japanese, Chinese and Korean specialties including sweet and spicy Szechuan dumplings; Bang Bang-style shrimp; Korean rice bowls topped with kimchi, meat and egg; teriyaki and Japanese Hibachi entrees.

5. Chimi Truck

Get your favorite Tacoholics street tacos, crunchy Gringo Taco Supreme, and more from their new double-decker bus eatery, the Chimi Truck.

6. Chino Taco

Chino Taco serves your favorite Chinese restaurant dishes three ways: with rice, in a crunchy taco shell or wrapped in a soft flour tortilla. Entrees include chicken tacos or burritos, Szechwan beef, sweet and sour chicken and much more. Meals come with Crab Rangoon.

7. Cinia’s Salvadorian Kitchen

An order of fried yuca with pork and curtido slaw from Cinia's Salvadoran Kitchen. We took it out of the to-go box and put it on a plate with cilantro. Truth, there was a lot more pork but we snacked on it because it's that good. Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021.

Stop at Cinia’s for a traditional taste of El Salvador. Enjoy pupusas, fried yuca (like a potato, but potato-ier) with slow-cooked pork, and empanadas with potato or meat fillings. Entrees are served with a mild fresh tomato sauce and cabbage slaw with carrots and a touch of oregano.
