1. Mohd Chan
Mohd Chan is a Chinese Muslim restaurant established in 2007 that serves authentic halal Cantonese cooking that also includes Dim Sum. They have a lot of outlets but the only one that specialises in Dim Sum is in Sunway Geo. They are of course, 100% halal.
Over there the variety of dim sum is endless from steamed Siew Mai to Hotatei Chee Cheong Fun. The menu for the other outlets is only limited to Siew Mai and Dumplings so if you want the true Dim Sum experience, head on over to Sunway Geo.

2. DIN by Din Tai Fung
Originating from Taiwan, this famous franchise that sells Taiwanese steamed dumplings and noodles made its way worldwide and even got one Michelin Star for its branch in Hong Kong. They are famous for their Xiao Long Baos, which are steamed dumplings filled with fillings and rich broth inside the skin.
With 12 branches in Malaysia, 3 of the branches (NU Sentral, Suria KLCC, JB MidValley Southkey) are Mulism friendly and do not serve pork or alcohol.

3. LèTen Dim Sum & Asian Cuisine
LèTen is a halal-certified Chinese restaurant in Mitsui Outlet Park Sepang and also in Citta Mall, Petaling Jaya that serves standard Chinese cuisine like stir fry dishes and dim sum dishes like Har Kao and Pan-fried Carrot Cake. 4. Dolly Dim Sum
If you haven’t heard of Dolly Dim Sum, clearly, you don’t know Dim Sum yet. They’re one of the famous Muslim-friendly Dim Sum places in the Klang Valley and currently, they have around 10 outlets. Apart from steamed and fried dim sum with Cheong fun, they also serve rice and noodles to satisfy your hunger for delicious carbs!

Average Price: A small dish would approximately start from RM9 while a heavier meal would start from RM22.
5. Minmax Restaurant
Founded way back in 2002, this restaurant is prized for its handmade Dim Sum. While being pork-free, they serve a variety of authentic Hong Kong dishes with a fusion of some Malaysian recipes. They also do bookings for various occasions like weddings and birthday parties. Their food uses ingredients sourced from halal-certified suppliers.

6. Lai Poh Heen
This exquisite restaurant is inspired by the great ancestral homes of 19th Century Chinese tycoons. With that being said and also located in Mandarin Oriental Hotel, you should expect the prices to be a tad bit expensive but of course, with premium quality. They are pork-free but do serve alcoholic beverages here.
From Codfish Dumplings (RM38) to Prawn and Water Chestnut Dumplings (RM36), their dumplings are all handmade by qualified chefs in an open kitchen.

7. Dodo Dim Sum & Bowls
Dodo Dim Sum & Bowls is a new restaurant that started its operation in 2019. Their menu caters to both handcrafted Dim Sum cuisines and classic Thai street food cuisines. You can enjoy up to 27 different choices for dim sums from their Garlic Fish Balls to their Szechuan Chicken dim sums. They even have nutritional values of these dishes on their website!
They have two outlets and both of their restaurants are Muslim-friendly as they are pork and alcohol-free while being Halal compliant.

8. Jibby Chow
Jibby Chow is a Chinese cuisine restaurant named after the owner, Najib Hamid aka Jibby and the restaurant’s Chef Chow. Serving various Chinese food like Cantonese Crab Meat and Cantonese Yin Yong, this restaurant also sells an array of Dim Sum menu.
A brand from the Serai Group, they are a 100% halal restaurant that sells authentic traditional and also contemporary Chinese dishes.

9. Siang Seafood Restaurant
This seafood restaurant serves Chinese cuisine that focuses on seafood and it is located in SOGO KL. They have a wide array of choices for dim sums there, up to 30 kinds. They do not serve pork but do have alcoholic beverages there.

10. Canning Heritage
Hailing from Perak, this 100% halal certified Chinese restaurant is an enhanced version of Canning Dim Sum, famous among people in Ipoh. In Canning Heritage, apart from a variety of their specialised dim sums, they also serve other Chinese cuisines like Hong Kong-style roasted chicken, Char Siew Chicken and noodles.
They currently have six outlets (The Curve, Citta Mall, Sunway Geo, Melawati Mall, Seksyen 20 Shah Alam, Gamuda Walk) in the Klang Valley.
