CLEVELAND, Ohio – Ben Bebenroth is a thoughtful guy. For the restaurateur who formerly owned the acclaimed Spice Kitchen + Bar in Cleveland’s Detroit Shoreway neighborhood, a restaurant should not be simply any old business venture. It should have a sense of responsibility. So it’s no surprise to learn he has spent months planning his latest concept – Keep The Change Kitchen Collective – which will open in March.

First look at the mouthwatering Mexican food being served up at Sheffield’s newest vegan eatery

We may be in the middle of yet another national lockdown but that did not stop the owners of Make No Bones, David Shaw and Lauren Hird, from teaming up with Sean O’Callaghan to open La Fonda on January 15.

La Fonda is located within the kitchen at The Tramshed’s premises at 53 Chesterfield Road, Heeley, and will form the popular bar’s food offering once pubs are permitted to reopen.

For now, La Fonda’s full menu – which includes Chorizo Sopes and Vegan Tinga Taco Dorado – is available for both collection and delivery from Friday to Sunday.

Popular Pigeon Forge eatery has issues with labeling, spoiled food during health inspection

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The restaurant health inspector found a number of violations at a Pigeon Forge restaurant that could potentially cause food-borne illnesses.

Several of the risk-factor violations have to do with improper labeling and spoiled food.

Puckett’s Grocery and Restaurant, 2480 Parkway, Pigeon Forge — grade: 75

The lowest health inspection score this week was a 75 at Puckett’s Grocery and Restaurant on the Parkway. That is a passing score, however, a follow-up inspection is required.

Colorado Springs Mexican food eatery under new management | Arts & Entertainment

Tim and Shaunah Dionne took over the operations at La Cava Fine Mexican Cuisine, 1755 Eighth Street, in November amid pandemic restrictions. It helped that the couple, from Los Angeles, has worked in restaurants. Shaunah, a native Californian, is a chef. Tim, who was born in Colorado Springs, knows his way around the kitchen too.

“I’m usually in the kitchen during the week,” Shaunah said. “Tim does the front of the house during the week, but we switch places on weekends.”
